PRIVACY POLICY
Last updated July 23, 2026 — covering the Memory Arcade mobile app.
Overview
They Live Here (“we,” “us”) built Memory Arcade (the “App”) as a guest-first nostalgia experience. You can browse memories, react, save favorites, and play games without creating an account.
Information stored on your device
In guest mode, your reactions, bookmarks, activity history, appearance preference, game progress, and an anonymous device identifier are stored locally on your device. This information lets the App remember your progress and build your Nostalgia DNA profile.
Community reactions and service data
When the App is online, reactions and Nostalgia Battles choices are sent to our service with the App-generated device identifier. We use these submissions to calculate community totals and operate the App. They are not public posts and are not displayed with your name.
Optional account and synchronization
If you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive the account identifier Apple provides and, when Apple makes them available, your name and email address. Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your personal email. We use this information to create your account, authenticate you, and synchronize eligible App activity across devices.
Account deletion
You can delete a synchronized account inside the App from My DNA → Account → Delete synced account. Deletion removes the account and synchronized cloud data. The guest archive stored locally on that iPhone is intentionally retained unless you remove the App or clear its local data. If you cannot access the App, follow the instructions on our support page.
Shopping links and external services
Some memories include links that open product searches on Amazon in your browser. Amazon’s privacy practices apply after you leave the App. Current links do not include affiliate tracking. If affiliate links are enabled later, we will clearly disclose that in the App and update this policy before enabling them.
Analytics and advertising
The App does not currently use third-party advertising SDKs or behavioral advertising, and it does not sell your personal information. We may use essential server logs to secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the service.
Data retention and security
Local guest data remains on your device until you delete the App or clear its data. Account and synchronized data are retained while your account is active and removed when account deletion is completed, subject to limited retention when required for security, legal compliance, or reliable service operation. We use reasonable safeguards, but no networked service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Memory Arcade is intended for a general adult audience interested in 1990s and 2000s nostalgia. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your choices
You may use the App without an account, decline optional sign-in, change or remove local reactions and bookmarks through the App, and delete a synchronized account through the Account screen. You may contact us with a privacy question or request.
Changes
We may update this policy as the App changes. The date above shows the latest revision.
