They Live Here (“we,” “us”) built Lovecraft Mythos Codex (the “App”). The App has no sign-in, no user accounts, and no way for us to identify you personally. You can use the entire free portion of the App without providing any information at all.
Purchases
The App offers a single one-time purchase to unlock its full content. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple’s App Store or Google Play — we never see or store your payment details. To verify purchases and keep your unlock working across reinstalls, we use RevenueCat, a third-party purchase management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated device identifier (not your name, email, or other personal information) plus purchase and transaction data from Apple or Google, solely to confirm what you’ve bought. What stays on your device
Your dark mode/text size settings, quiz results, and minigame scores are stored locally on your device only — never transmitted anywhere.
Links to outside sources
Some entries let you read complete public-domain source texts through an in-app browser that opens hplovecraft.com. Once there, that site’s own privacy practices apply, not this one.
Advertising and analytics
The App shows no ads and doesn’t currently use any analytics or tracking software.
Children
The App isn’t directed at children and contains horror-literature themes not intended for young children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

We may update this page occasionally.
